The SR-71 Blackbird, a Mach 3+ capable plane designed in the early 1960s by the legendary Clarence ‘Kelly’ Johnson. It could fly at 85,000 feet, and the pilot needed a pressure suit derived from the Gemini space missions to survive. The only people to ever travel higher are Astronauts (and X-15 pilots, who were awarded Astronaut wings anyway). Definitely one of the most iconic planes ever to fly.
